IJF Summer Concert Series
It was the perfect evening at the Indianapolis Art Center for the first 2023 Jazz at the Center concert!
The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation and Indy Jazz Fest are pleased to bring this amazing Summer concert series back for the third year. It’s an inclusive community event with affordable tickets. Kids 12 and under even get in free making it a friends and family-friendly event that everyone can enjoy.
Jennie DeVoe delivered a soulful and energy-filled performance to an attentive listening crowd of fans. Her soul-roots-Americana-blues-hippie-funk vibe took over the IAC’s outdoor terrace. The performance also featured her band which included these talented musicians:

Jeff Stone - bass
The Full Outdoor Concert Experience!
Guests entered through the front doors of the Indianapolis Art Center where they were greeted by IJF staff and volunteers who checked them in. Then they headed through the building back to the outdoor terrace.
The Jazz Kitchen served delicious fresh chicken tinga tacos & roasted veggie tacos. There was also water, soda, cold beer, and wine available for purchase from the IAC. You cannot go wrong with the combination of tacos and live music!
We can all agree that outdoor Summer concerts are special. There was plenty of room for guests to spread out throughout the terrace. Many brought their own chairs and chose a spot on the lawn. Some took advantage of the provided seating in the front right by the stage. Others spread out on the steps or stood towards the top by the food and drink. There was plenty of room for everyone to get comfortable, relax, and listen to Jennie DeVoe and her wonderful voice.
This community concert is a great opportunity to connect with other music fans and support the IJF. There was even a merch table set up where guests could get a Wes at 100 button if they signed up for our email list or purchase a T-shirt.

For those who didn’t already purchase the full season ticket package, an upgrade was available for purchase at this concert only. It was the last chance for attendees to get tickets to all three Jazz at the Center concerts at a discount. Several attendees took advantage of the savings.
