It's hard to believe with all of this heat that our Holiday Showcase is just around the corner, but yes, it will be here before you know it! Founded in 1994, Indianapolis Jazz Foundation's mission is to preserve the legacy and promote the future of jazz in Indianapolis, through education and performance. The Foundation is active in presenting jazz clinics in schools and venues in the central Indiana area.

Popular radio and jazz personality Chuck Workman has graciously gifted the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation with his collection of over 1000 jazz cds and jazz memorabilia, including t-shirts and hats from famous world tours. All of this marvelous stuff will be going on sale on Labor Day...Monday, September 6th, at the Jazz Kitchen (54th and College Ave., Indpls.) as part of the Labor Day Street Fair. Proceeds from the sale will be used as part of a newly created endowment in Chucks name. The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation is honored that Chuck Workman would choose it as the beneficiary of this wonderful gift, and we look forward to presenting an annual Garage Sale for many years to come.
